Directions· Multiple Choice Questions

In the following problems, you are given four answers. Choose the right answer.

There is only ONE correct answer to each question.

If Mohammed is half as old as Saad, and Saad is three times as old as Fahad, then the ratio of Fahad's age to Mohammed's age is:

  1. 3/2
  2. 1/2
  3. 1/3
  4. 2/3
Show answer

Correct answer: D. 2/3

Why

Let Fahad = 1, so Saad = 3, and Mohammed = half of Saad = 1.5. Fahad : Mohammed = 1 : 1.5 = 2 : 3.
